Geonodes: set edge sharpness (Obsolete in B4.0)

Eh, You’d think Blender would allow to dynamically [glossary] set the edge sharpness from geonodes, just like it does with creases, but no, in v. 3.3.1 you still need to resort to such workarounds… Don’t be fooled by the length of this description, it’s pretty simple stuff you can reproduce yourself, by looking at my BSE answer.

’Tis a setup allowing you to dynamically set sharpness (a boolean property). ’Tis useful in following cases:

👉 You want to create some geometry in geonodes and dynamically mark some edges sharp to control autosmooth or for compatibility with other tools using this information.

👉 You want to animate sharpness of edges like on animation above.

👉 You want to use an existing mesh but clear edge sharpness on it.
