Quick tiling test for Midjourney
Midjourney is a Discord bot that allows you write a text "prompt" like this:
A mage in blue apparel and blue hat, near a magic junkyard and a gum road selling stuff for $1
Which will generate 4 images like this:
One of interesting features is ending the prompt with --tile --v 3
:
magic junkyard --tile --v 3
Problem is, while it generates 4 seamless tiles, it again generates 4 variants in a single file:
In order to preview how each of these actually tiles, you need to cut it out from the rest - which is trivial, but annoying.
❗ All of the above describes a feature that I'm actually NOT selling. You can have a free trial here: Midjourney Discord Server
What I'm selling is a simple .blend file, where you can open the generated tiles, and easily preview how they tile:
So I'm just selling the simple node setup to easily preview all 4 tiles at once, without the need to cut a quarter out of the quartet.
⚠I promise no support and give no guarantee the item actually works❗ You’re buying junk! Treat it as an educational material rather than a product. However, I’d love to hear any kind of feedback: bug reports, suggestions, ‘backlinks’ to your work that uses the obtained junk (if you decide to share, please provide info if I can use it in the description of the item). Based on that I may tinker with an idea some more, but no promises are made.
Within the package:
✅ A tiletest.blend
file with the setup used to preview the tiles.
